Bruce Rowland over four years composed the soundtrack for ‘The Man From Snowy River’, ‘Pharlap’, the hit television series ‘All The Rivers Run’ and the motion picture ‘Rebel’.
It makes you wonder how someone could be so creative, over such a short period of time!
At the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games Bruce conducted the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, for the opening ceremony, featuring a special Olympic version of his score, The Man From Snowy River.
Rochford is thrilled to welcome him to share his incredible musical talent, over a 4 course degustation meal matched with award winning Rochford wines.
Bruce has written music for over 43 movies and TV series, and has done considerable work in the United States, spending his time living in Melbourne and Los Angeles.
He has played keyboards and written arrangements for the Go Show, a popular TV show in the sixties backing the likes of Olivia Newton-John, Billy Thorpe and with The Strangers, most of the recording artists of the time, as well as overseas artists such as Roy Orbison and The Beach Boys.
Add to that musical scores for Anzacs, Cool Change, Walt Disney’s Aladdin Series, Lightning Jack and Gross Misconduct, and you would have to say, a night with this musical genius is not to be missed!
