Tasting Notes
Light to mid straw in colour with a touch of green. The nose shows lime and citrus characters with a slight smoky edge. The palate is tightly structured with a good depth of flavour that leads to a fresh and clean finish.

Cellaring
Drink now or cellar for up to 5 years.

Winemaking Notes
This is a blend of 60% Yarra Valley and 40% Macedon Ranges fruit. After crushing and pressing the juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks at 15°C, allowing the wine to retain its fresh, vibrant fruit characters. The wines were fermented to dryness before blending the two batches. Bottled on 28th June 2006.

Viticultural Notes
The fruit for this wine is from our Maroondah Highway and Macedon ranges vineyards. The vintage in the Yarra Valley was warm to hot while the Macedon Ranges was warm early with a very cool period towards the end. Picking dates were 7th March and 28th April respectively.
